First gluten free burger!

So I may or may not (can’t remember actually) have mentioned that I’ve been put on a gluten free diet. The whole thing started a couple months ago because I really had nothing to lose (except possibly my pain), thanks to my mom and my future mother-in-law! Well it’s helped, a lot!

Which brings me to today’s excitement, my first gluten free burger. I’ve ordered burgers without the bun at restaurants before, I’ve also had homemade burgers without buns, and one time with gluten free sandwich bread. But until today I hadn’t had a restaurant burger on a gluten free hamburger bun. Maybe this doesn’t seem like a big deal to you, but for me, it’s huge! I prefer eating my burgers with my hands, not a fork, so to find a place that not only has a gluten free menu, but has gluten free bread as well, is phenomenal! Where is this amazing place and what is it called? The Breadline Cafe of Omak, WA. And how was it? Delicious! Sadly I didn’t think to take any photos of the amazingness before I started eating, at which point all hope was lost because I was thoroughly enjoying my food.

Know of any amazing gluten free dining options? I’d love to hear about them, comment or email me at
